「冬来たりなば」第148回定期走行会レポート／"When Winter Comes" 148th Regular Ride Event Report

12月の走行会は冬ならではの景色とカフェを楽しみました。
 At the December riding event, we enjoyed the winter scenery and cafes.

昼から雨予報の曇り空でしたが、今回もたくさん21名が集まりました。初参加の方も3名来られて嬉しいですね。出発前にパチリ。田中さんは滑り込んでセーフ！

It was cloudy with rain forecast from noon, but 21 people gathered again this time. We were happy to see three first-time participants. A snap before we left. Tanaka-san made it in time!

冬枯れの景色の中をのんびりと目的地の薬師堂へ。寒くてポツポツ雨粒も落ちてきましたが、みなさん元気にペダルを踏みます。

We leisurely made our way through the withered winter scenery to our destination, Yakushido. It was cold and raindrops were falling, but everyone pedaled energetically.

最後の急坂を登って薬師堂に到着。もう散り始めていましたが、黄色い銀杏の葉の絨毯とギンナンの臭いに冬を感じることができました。ここは来る人も少なくて趣がある場所ですね。

We climbed the last steep slope and arrived at Yakushido. The leaves had already started to fall, but the carpet of yellow ginkgo leaves and the smell of ginkgo nuts gave us a taste of winter. This is a charming place with few visitors.

今回のもう一つの目的地は薬師堂の近くにオープンしたカフェ。以前からあった薪ストーブのショップ"FORESTOVE"さんが11月からカフェ営業もスタートされたのです。薪ストーブが赤々と燃える店内はとても素敵な雰囲気で、このまま一日過ごしたいほどゆったりとしたカフェタイムを楽しみました。

Our other destination this time was a cafe that opened near Yakushido. FORESTOVE, a wood stove shop that had been there for a while, started operating as a cafe in November. The interior, with the wood stove blazing red, created a wonderful atmosphere, and we enjoyed a relaxing cafe time that made us want to stay there all day.

帰路は雨の中のライドになりましたが、事故なく無事に帰り着くことができました。距離は30km弱と短めでしたが、冬ならではの楽しみを体験することができました。

On the way back, we rode in the rain, but we arrived safely without any accidents. The distance was short at just under 30km, but we were able to experience the joys of winter.
