『青空』第140回定期走行会レポート／"Blue sky" The 140th ride meeting report

土曜日が雨だったので今回は建国記念日（初代神武天皇が即位した日だそうな）の2/11に開催しました。糸島の朝の気温は0℃でしたがお天気は快晴。風も無くて良いライド日和になりました。
Since it rained on Saturday, this time we held the event on February 11th, which is National Foundation Day (the day when the first Emperor Jimmu ascended to the throne). The morning temperature in Itoshima was 0℃, but the weather was clear. There was no wind, so it was a good day for a ride.

冷え込んだにもかかわらず21名もの参加者が集まりました。レンくんは関東の大学に進学するので福岡を離れるそうです。さみしくなりますね。
Despite the cold weather, 21 people gathered. Ren-kun will be leaving Fukuoka to go to a university in the Kanto region. We are going to miss him.

今日のコースは糸島半島一周ですが、体が温まるよう少しアップダウンが多いルートを選びました。まずはウォーミングアップに九州大学をヒルクライム。

Today's course was a trip around the Itoshima Peninsula, but We chose a route with a few ups and downs to warm up my body. First, We did a hill climb around Kyushu University as a warm-up.

次は中田埋立場の裏を抜けて牧場の１本ツリーまでのヒルクライム。急坂ですが登った人だけ見ることができる絶景がご褒美です。

Next is a hill climb through the back of the Nakata landfill to the lone tree on the ranch. It's a steep hill, but the reward is a spectacular view that only those who make it to the top can see.

二見ヶ浦でしばし休憩。自転車のことやら近況やら体の痛みやら？ワイワイとおしゃべりに花が咲きます。

We took a short break at Futamigaura. We chatted about cycling, recent events, and physical pain.

次の登りは彦山ヒルクライム。短いけどキツいチャレンジです。初心者の志穂さんも初めての彦山を登りきりました。私は新しいバイクになったのに疲れてダメダメでした〜。

The next climb was the Hikoyama Hill Climb. It was a short but tough challenge.  Shiho-san, a beginner, made it to the top of Hikosan for the first time. I was too tired even though I switched to a lighter ELVES.

THALIA Coffeeでカフェブレイク。おいしいコーヒーで体も温まりました。

We had a cafe break at THALIA Coffee. The delicious coffee warmed us up.

今日は芥屋で止まらずにショートカットして中央公園へ。前のグループはデッドヒートだったそうですが、後ろのグループは田舎道をのんびりと帰路につきました。

Today, instead of stopping at Keya, we took a shortcut to Shima Central Park. The group in front was in a dead heat, but the group behind us took it easy on the country roads and headed home.

いいお天気に恵まれて今回も楽しいライドになりました。解散後は数グループに分かれて、角屋食堂、牧のうどん、龍上（ロンシャン／前原の街中華）などそれぞれお昼を楽しんだようです。

We were blessed with good weather and it was a fun ride. After the ride ended, we split into several groups and enjoyed lunch at Kadoya Shokudo, Maki no Udon, Ronshan (Chinese restaurant), and other places.
