猛烈に暑い日が続く今年の夏。8月の走行会も涼しさを求めてライドしました。
This summer when a hot day continues intensely. The Ride meeting of August did a ride for the cool, too
今回も暑さに負けない23名に参加いただきました。東区の方や久しぶりの方も。竹内代表は今回も元気に参加です。
We had you participate in 23 people this time. There were Higashi-ku and the person after a long absence.
泉川のハマボウはすっかり散ってましたね。朝の空気が心地よいです。
今回は加布里で2グループに分かれてそれぞれのコースを楽しみました。高田のグループ11名は白糸の滝を目指してヒルクライム。滝の周囲は涼しい空気に満ちていました。
11 members were hill climb for Shiraito waterfall . Around the waterfall was filled with cool air.
帰り道は長野峠から雷神社経由で。途中で猛烈な雨に見舞われました。滑りやすいので慎重に下ります。アメリカ人のカートさんは雷神社の荘厳な雰囲気に感銘を受けたようです。
木村さんの美しいスチールバイクが気になったカートさんは、帰る途中で木村さんと自転車を交換。とても楽しそうです!
宮崎さんのグループ12名は前回と同じ川遊びコースへ。美しい田園風景の中を走り、ちょっとだけヒルクライム。
佐波の加茂川で楽しい水遊び。水かけ合戦でかなり盛り上がったようです。
『ぎゃらりふがく』にてカフェタイム。いつも迎えていただきありがとうございます。
帰り道、こちらのグループも雨に降られてしばし雨宿り。普通に過ごせない人たちね。
As this group was caught in the rain on the way back, They took shelter. They are people who cannot spend time calmly.
解散後はいつもの角屋さんへ。カートさんと宮さんの大盛りコンビの嬉しそうな顔をご覧ください。
It was the ride which was pleasant this time though it was hot. Next ride meeting is a plan of September 3. We look forward to your participation.
●番外編
マウンテンバイクチームの山口・高田・杉岡・橋本は、翌日山口県で行われた3時間耐久レース『汗汗(カンカン)フェスタ』に出場。金子さんや星さん他も応援に来てくれたので頑張って走りました。ロードもいいけどマウンテンの楽しさは格別ですよ。
The mountain bike team participated in three hours endurance race carried out in Yamaguchi on Sunday. The mountain bike is fun, too!
