『田園の秋』第156回定期走行会／"Autumn in the Countryside" – 156th Regular Riding Meet

10月の走行会は黄金色に実った稲穂を巡りながらのんびりライドしました。

For the October group ride, we enjoyed a leisurely ride amidst golden, ripened rice stalks.

お天気はおおむね晴天。朝は肌寒いくらいで、ライドに絶好の季節になりました。今回の参加者は20人。久しぶりの方や初めての方も。バラエティに富んだメンバーでグループライドを楽しみました。

The weather was mostly clear. With the morning air feeling pleasantly crisp, it has become the perfect season for a ride. Twenty people participated this time, including both returning riders and newcomers; it was a diverse group that thoroughly enjoyed the ride together.

往路は各地の田んぼや彼岸花を楽しみながらポタリングペースでライド。こうした楽しみ方ができるのは糸島の農家のみなさんのおかげですね。感謝しながらお米をいただきたいものです。

On the way out, We enjoyed a leisurely ride, taking in the sights of rice paddies and red spider lilies along the route. It is thanks to the farmers of Itoshima that we can enjoy the scenery in this way; We want to savor the rice with a sense of gratitude.

今回の目的地、二丈吉井の「ぎゃらりふがく」では満開の彼岸花が迎えてくれました。それぞれ好きなドリンクを注文してしばしカフェブレイク。お互いの近況やら自転車の話やら、話題は尽きません。楽しいひとときを過ごしました。

At our destination—Gallery Fugaku in Nijo-Yoshii—we were welcomed by cluster amaryllis in full bloom. We each ordered our favorite drinks and took a short break at the café; the conversation flowed endlessly, covering everything from updates on our lives to talk about bicycles. It was a delightful time.

ヒルクライム好きのお二人はここで別れてお山へ。残りのメンバーは田んぼの中をのんびり帰路へ。朝ドラの撮影に使われたグラベル路はいかがでしたか？糸島の田園の美しさを実感したライドでした。
The two hill-climb enthusiasts parted ways here to head for the hills, while the rest of the group took a leisurely ride back through the rice fields. How did you enjoy the gravel road featured in the morning TV drama? It was a ride that truly let us appreciate the beauty of the Itoshima countryside.

今回も最高に楽しいライドでした。参加したみなさんお疲れ様でした。

Next week is finally race day for the Tour de Kyushu. The "Gambrilliant" Itoshima team plans to cheer the riders on at the KOM point on the Kyushu University campus.
