「Vamos! VC」第155回定期走行会レポート／The 155th Ride Meeting report

 9月の走行会は最高気温29℃の涼しい1日。日差しも穏やかで絶好のライド日和になりました。
The September group ride took place on a cool day with a high of 29°C. With gentle sunshine, it was a perfect day for riding.

今回は10月に開催されるツール・ド・九州の応援PRのため、地元プロチームVCフクオカの佐藤監督と石原選手がいらして、石原選手はライドにも参加いただきました。プロ選手と一緒にサイクリングなんてめったに無い機会です。みなさんちょっとコーフンしてたような（笑）

Manager Sato and rider Ishihara from the local professional team VC Fukuoka visited us to promote the Tour de Kyushu, which takes place in October; Ishihara even joined us for a ride. It is a rare opportunity to go cycling alongside professional athletes, and everyone seemed a bit excited about it! (Haha)

まず最初は九大ヒルクライム。大学講内もツール・ド・九州のコースになっています。10月10日の応援はここに集まって行うかもしれません。

First up is the Kyushu University Hill Climb. The university campus itself is part of the Tour de Kyushu course. We might gather here to cheer on the riders on October 10th.

今津のセヴンで休憩。爽やかな石原選手大モテです！

次は二見ヶ浦までフリーライド。石原選手のスピードはやはり異次元でした！

Next was a free ride to Futamigaura. Racer Ishihara's speed was truly in a league of its own!

しばし談笑の後はお楽しみの彦山越え。日陰が多くて久しぶりにヒートすることなく登れました。

After chatting for a while, we tackled the highlight of the ride: the climb over Hikoyama. There was plenty of shade, so for the first time in a while, We were able to make the ascent without overheating.

THALIA COFFEEでカフェ・ブレイク。今日はテラス席でも涼しく過ごせますね。みなさんいい笑顔です。グループライドは本当に楽しい！

芥屋までは強めの追い風に乗って快調にライド。そしてここでもVCサイン！海には白波が立っていました。

We enjoyed a smooth ride to Keya, aided by a strong tailwind. We also got a "VC sign" here! Whitecaps were visible on the sea.

帰路は車の少ない道を選んでのんびりと。距離50kmの楽しいライドになりました。

For the return trip, I chose a route with little traffic and took it easy. It turned out to be an enjoyable 50km ride.

最後にカズミンさんから九州クロスのお知らせ。11/29に芦屋浜海浜公園。1/10に唐津西の浜にて初めての大会が開催されます。初心者歓迎の楽しいレースになりそうです。みなさんの参加や観戦をお待ちしています。

Finally, Kazumin-san has an announcement regarding the Kyushu Cross series. The inaugural events will be held at Ashiyahama Seaside Park on November 29 and at Karatsu Nishinohama on January 10. These promise to be fun races that welcome beginners. We look forward to seeing you there, whether you are participating or just coming to watch.

解散後4人は角屋食堂へ。ポークチャップ美味しそう。

After wrapping up, the four of us headed to Kadoya Shokudo. The pork chop looked delicious.

The next event is scheduled for October 3rd. We will share updates regarding cheering for the Tour de Kyushu later. Let’s all get together and cheer on VC Fukuoka!
