『レン君お帰り！』第151回定期走行会レポート／"Welcome back, Ren!" 151st Ride Report

 3月になったのに風は冷たく寒い一日でした。冷え込んだ朝の驚きは、関東の大学に進学したレン君が登場したこと。春休みの帰省に合わせ、ガンバリアントのためにわざわざバイクを持って帰ってくれたそうです。嬉しいですね！

It was a chilly day, even though it was March. The surprise on this chilly morning was the arrival of Ren, who is attending a university in the Kanto region. He had apparently taken the trouble to bring his bike back with him just for Gamrilliant when he returned home for spring break. We're so happy!

寒さにめげず参加者は18人も！初参加の方も4名来ていただきました。

Despite the cold weather, 18 people participated! Four were first-time participants. 

カバぶどうサイクルのご夫婦はYouTubuチャンネルをされているので、いつか今回のライドの様子がアップされるかも!?
The couple from Kababudo Cycle have a YouTube channel, so maybe they'll upload footage of this ride someday!?

ウォーミングアップは九州大学へのヒルクライム。みなさんスイスイ登っていきます。ようやく体が暖まってきました。
The warm-up was a hill climb to Kyushu University. Everyone climbed smoothly. Finally, our bodies were warming up.

今津のセブンでひとやすみ。我がクラブはライドの時間より交流の時間の方が多めですw

Taking a break at the 7-Eleven in Imazu. Our club spends more time socializing than riding.

二見ヶ浦まではフリー走行。冷たい向かい風の中を元気にライド。そしてまたチャットの時間。自転車は初めての方との距離をたちまち近づけてくれます。

We rode freely to Futamigaura. We rode energetically in the cold headwind. And then we had time to chat again. Cycling quickly brings us closer to those who are riding for the first time.

次は久しぶりの彦山ヒルクライム。今回みなさん先に登っていったので写真は撮れず〜。下ってからTHALIA COFFEEで楽しいカフェブレイク。日も射して暖かくなってきました。

Next up was the Mt. Hiko Hill Climb, which we hadn't done in a while. This time everyone else had already climbed ahead of me, so I couldn't take any photos. After descending, We had a fun coffee break at THALI A COFFEE. The sun was shining and it was getting warmer.

次は芥屋大門公園まで7.1kmをライド。風の冷たさや、海と空の青さ、波の音など、四季の自然を丸ごと体感できるのが自転車の良さですね。

Next, we rode 7.1km to Keya Ohto Park. The coolness of the wind, the blue of the sea and sky, the sound of the waves - the beauty of cycling is that you can experience the four seasons in their entirety.

帰路は車の少ない道を選びながらのんびりライド。飛ばすパートとのんびりパートのメリハリあるのがガンバリアントライドの特徴です。初参加の方にも楽しかったとおっしゃっていただき、嬉しい限りでした！

On the way back, we took a leisurely ride, choosing roads with less traffic. The distinctive feature of the Gambarian Ride is the contrast between fast and leisurely sections. Everyone, including first-time participants, said they had a great time, which made us very happy!

今回も無事に終えることができました。次回のライドは4月4日(土)、恒例の桜めぐりライドの予定です。皆様のご参加お待ちしております。

We were able to complete the ride safely this time as well. The next ride is scheduled for Saturday, April 4th, as our annual cherry blossom viewing ride. We look forward to your participation.
