『おっさんずライド』第143回定期走行会リポート／"Ojisan's Ride": 143rd Ride Meeting Report

5月の走行会は連休後半初日に開催しました 。写真は東京からのゲスト・ワタナベさん。糸島の景色と空気を楽しんでいただけたようです。

The May ride was held on the first day of the second half of the holidays. The photo shows our guest, Watanabe-san, from Tokyo. He seemed to enjoy the scenery and the air of Itoshima.

この日集まったのはおじさんばかり12名。連休なのに他にすることないのでしょうかw。今回はワタナベさんの他にタナカさんも初参加でした。

The people who gathered that day were all 12 middle-aged men. Is there nothing else to do during the holidays? This was Watanabe and Tanaka's first time participating.

まずは九州大学のアップヒルでウォーミングアップ。近未来都市のような風景に早くもワタナベさんは興奮気味です。

First, we warmed up on the uphill course at Kyushu University. Watanabe was excited to see the university's scenery, which resembled a futuristic city.

この日はクルマが多そうだったので中田埋立地の山手を抜けて二見ヶ浦へ。アップヒルでのカートさんのアタックに足自慢が追走します。いくつになっても競争は楽しいもの。

There seemed to be a lot of cars on the road that day, so we headed through the hills of Nakata Reclaimed Land and headed to Futamigaura. Kurt's attack on the uphill stretch was followed by the rider with the fastest legs. Competing is fun no matter how old you are.

二見ヶ浦パーキングでひと休み。ひとりで来ていた少年と話しているうち、ここからライドに加わることに。中３ながらしっかり話せて走力もあるグッドボーイ。平均年齢が少し若返りましたw

We took a break at Futamigaura Parking. While talking to a boy who had come alone, he decided to join the ride from here. He was a good boy who could speak well and ride well, even though he was only in third year of junior high school.

次は彦山のアップヒル。今日も玄界灘の美しい景色が広がっていました。

Next up was the uphill climb of Mt. Hikoyama. Today, too, the beautiful scenery of the Genkai Sea unfolded before us.

THALIA COFFEEでカフェブレイク。自転車談義に花が咲きます。流行のショートクランクやナローハンドルを試している方が多いようで、カートさんや上園先輩、ワタナベさんはいい感じだそうです。

We had a coffee break at THALIA COFFEE. We chatted about bicycles. It seemed like many people were trying out the trendy short cranks and narrow handlebars, and Kurt, Uezono-senpai, and Watanabe all seemed to like them.

次は芥屋の大門公園までハイペースでライド。芥屋海岸は海風が心地よく吹いて平和な空気に満ちていました。

Next, we rode at a high pace to Ohio Park in Keya. The Keya Coast was filled with a peaceful atmosphere with a pleasant sea breeze.

帰りは車の少ない裏道を選んでのんびりライド。途中で穴場の静かなビーチにも寄りました。

On the way back, we took a leisurely ride along back roads with little traffic, stopping at a hidden, quiet beach along the way.

お昼ご飯はタケピーさん上園さんで角屋食堂へ。カツカレーと大盛ちゃんぽんだったそうです。うまそうだなぁ。

For lunch, Take-P and Master Uezono went to Kadoya Shokudo. They ordered pork cutlet curry and a large serving of champon. It looks delicious.

今回も最高に楽しいライドでした。次回は6月7日土曜日に開催予定です。皆さんのご参加をお待ちしています。
